ip4u is a smart home integrator in Moscow. Since 2013 we have designed, installed and serviced wired smart home systems on Control4 and KNX in apartments and country houses. We are a certified Control4 installer since 2015 and won two Hi-Tech Building Awards in 2024.

What we do
- Remote diagnostics. We connect to the system, find out why it stopped working and in most cases fix it without a visit.
- Engineer visit. On-site diagnostics and repair when equipment does not respond.
- Emergency visit. An engineer arrives within 2 hours, 7:00 to 23:00.
- Control4 programming. New scenes, devices and drivers, updates, an English interface on panels and in the app.
- KNX. Lighting, blinds, heating and climate on the KNX bus: fault finding and reprogramming.
- Wi-Fi and network. Professional Wi-Fi so the house, cameras and the app work everywhere.
- Systems installed by others. We start with diagnostics and tell you honestly what can be fixed.

Remote requests before 10:00 or after 21:00 cost 50% more, from 23:00 to 7:00 — 100% more. Parts and additional programming are quoted in advance. Full terms are on the service support page (in Russian).
Where we work
Moscow and the Moscow region, most often Novaya Riga and Rublyovka. Remote diagnostics work anywhere the system has internet access.
Systems we know
Control4 (certified installer since 2015), KNX, Ruckus Wi-Fi (Ruckus Ready partner since 2019), MikroTik, Bowers & Wilkins and multiroom audio. We also write our own Control4 drivers — for example, Yandex Alice voice control and Hikvision camera privacy.

Yes. We start with diagnostics. Access to the controller and, ideally, the project files makes it faster.
Can the Control4 app and panels be in English?
Yes. Language, room names and scene names can be set up in English for each family member.
Do I need a service contract?
No. You can order one-off services at the prices above. A service contract is discussed separately if you want regular maintenance.
